I went from wondering what ever happened to that 100 bucks I put down in October of 2021 to an email from Ford this morning that my truck is scheduled for production! It's still a little bit out as right now it says 3/27. But ever since i was invited to order my truck on the 19th of January I feel like it's been a steady stream of updates or information. Can't wait for delivery!

Fingers crossed you are next!

I have gotten 5 “update” emails since I placed my order on 1/21 and only 2 times did it actually have a meaningful change. Once to add back in the heated steering wheel and once to remove the security and scales. The other 3 emails did not appear to actually change anything from what I can tell. I got two “updates” this evening 10 minutes apart but again no changes from what I can tell.

Got another "order has been updated" email today. It's so hard to actually tell when Ford makes a change.... This time it looks like "CHMSL Camera Removal" but there is no credit for them removing the camera. That verbiage just shows up under the build. So not really sure if that means it could be removed, it will be, or what. I would hope if they remove the feature they give some kind of credit. I do think Ford would benefit from a little "update restraint". I get that inventory is a living/breathing thing and changes all the time but maybe only send out an update once a week vs 3 a day going back and forth. Especially if the build is not for almost 2 months.

Seems kinda random how production dates move around. Has to be based on model.

I also got invite on 12/15 and immediately ordered. Took dealer 2 weeks to accept the order. 2 weeks ago got 2/27/23 production date which I check every day to see if its changing. So far looking good. I ordered Platinum in the Star White. The deletes are troubling but I'll just live with them.

Went all in for Fisker Ocean One in August because I had no faith I would see a Lightening before 24 and it looked like the One would arrive latest 2nd quarter 23. Boy has that changed! At best the One will arrive 3rd quarter but looks like I might have Lightening by the end of March!!! And the IRS hosed us on the One tax rebate even though we have confirmed order with $5K down. Not sure if I will keep the One but I have a guy who wants to buy it if I don't. Depends on my wife who would be the primary driver.

And Sunrun just called to discuss Chargepro and Install. Not sure I will use them for install but they quoted $1250 all in. 100% sure they can't find adders since I just built this detached garage with its own meter and I have new 200 amp panel with nothing but lights and 2 thru wall AC units running to to support my office which is in the garage.. The charger will be on same wall as the panel within 3' so no conduit run to speak of.

Really getting anxious to get my hands on the truck.

2/27 is right around the corner. You will be styling and profiling in no time. Let us know how it goes. I’m on the fence with Sunrun. Anytime it takes me 4 transfers to someone for them to tell me I have to spend 150 bucks just for them to say if they can do the work…. I am suspect. Currently I have two quotes from local electricians and they are reasonable. The hard part will be waiting on the charger.

My Lariat ER has been sitting in a RR yard since 2/6 and the estimated delivery was 3/8-3/18, until this morning now the estimated delivery is 4/7 - 4/20. This is getting really frustrating. I am guessing Ford had to check possibly as many as 3000 Lightnings that were under the battery issue. I know they are sending Ford techs on site to actually do their battery testing but seriously 2 months to do testing. Ford, send me the test equipment I will go testing batteries ;)

I called Ford corporate customer care yesterday and had a conversation pertaining to my situation,my truck SR PRO is built and off loaded in a rail yard and has been sitting there since 2/1,he told me officially all deliveries are still on hold. I said now my delivery says 4/14 2 months in a parking lot ford has to do better than that ! I said, he had the tap shoes on and danced around the subject in perfect Ford fashion . I ended up with $100 dollars worth of Ford advertising swag ,I really wanted mud flaps Ha! but that wasn’t happening.Who can get something done about this ? There really needs to be a squeaky wheel in this situation what good is all this tracking information when it just leads to a truck in a parking lot.Just venting good luck guys and girls.

Mine went by super fast. I got the invite back in October for the MY23. I built it and put in my deposit and then got a build date of December 12th. That came and went and I didn't get and update, but then I got a notification in the first week of January that scheduled delivery was from like 24-28 December. As it was January I didn't pay much attention to that one, but then received a notification that it would be delivered between 1-9 January. Then it was pushed back to the end of January (like the 26-30 timeframe). Then I got a call from the dealer on Sunday the 8th saying that it was in SC and I would probably get it by that weekend. Then I got another call that night saying that it had just shown up at the dealer. The delivery schedule is all over the place.
