Who in the world would drive 55 miles an hour on the interstate. That’s 15 miles an hour under the speed limit in my state. You will get pulled over for that.

the EPA tests are performed at like 55mph?!
They've taken a serious look and gotten the estimated range. Also Ford is advertising the EPA's estimated range. It isn't Ford's range. People are getting what is advertised. Official Ford F-150 Lightning EPA Range And Efficiency...Very disappointing that Ford advertises 300+ miles on the extended battery. I’m still getting maybe 200 miles on a full charge. Disappointment disappointment disappointment. Really curious what other people are seeing. My wife has an Audi EV and she’s getting pretty much the advertise mileage. Not sure where Ford’s coming up with these numbers but someone needs to take a series look at it.
There is no way you are going to convince anyone that in a pickup truck your range doesn't change based on your driving habit. Math and physics are against your statement, especially since you said "not much". Not much could be said about your 200 vs 267.In my old Ford F150 not much difference in mileage per gallon at 70 versus 79.
OK, there's no question that you are using more energy. In my old Ford F150 not much difference in mileage per gallon at 70 versus 79.
I don't. I was merely relating the observations of a poster who drove across the United States who found his optimal range/charge time balance was 68 mph.Who drive 68 miles an hour?
EV drivers. If you can't do it, not for you. I'm with you in spirit....I went on a big rant about this a few months ago, too! I think planning our speed and accounting for charger access is something many, including myself, never anticipated. So, If I go see my daughter at college 60 miles away, I'll just hammer it as always at 80 mph as I can get there and back and charge easily at home. However, if I'm going to Fargo, ND, with minimal DC fast chargers in between (240 miles) I'm going to try 70 mph and hope for 2 mi/kwh and I'll know I'm going to make it. If I am getting 2.1, I'll probably speed up. If 1.9, which is cutting it close, I'll slow down. And I won't even try in the worst of winter as you ain't seen nothing, yet.Who drive 68 miles an hour?
Count the watt hours you use and do the burn-rate math on it... You can keep track of your battery capacity that way.Hi, yes i have the same question.
I have on mine 1300 miles since i got it and my F-150 with ER battery and with 100% it shows estimated range of 277 miles.
But to be honest I live in Florida - AC is on all day and has really to work hard here. 50% local traffic 50% highway.
How do i ever know if the battery has a problem, when every owner gets different estimates because of driving styles?
Other than that question - i love the car- Fast, quiet, a real Truck
The reading on the Guess-o-meter will be conservative (underestimate). It often will not show your real world range as it is based on your recent driving and not your upcoming drive. Ford also doesn't want to have people get stranded by providing high estimates based on mixed use driving and then have you hop on the interstate and drive 80 in the rain. I recommend you read up on how to determine your actual range:Hi, yes i have the same question.
