These 3 week's comments are stressing me out. I just had to take mine in after only owning it for 3 days. It's been at the dealer three days just waiting in line for a diagnosis. I don't know if it's related, but I randomly had a power train fault that put me in limp mode. It eventually went away and I was able to drive fine, but drove it straight to the dealer. Service light was off by then, but as I'm waiting for them to check that issue, I see mine has this same CSP bulletin. It didn't show up in the Ford app, only when I logged in online. Now I'm wondering if I'll get the truck back in time to head back to Kentucky for my project that starts in about three weeks.

If the issue went a way, it may not be the battery, when I had a bad module it limited me to 20% power and wouldn't go away. Had a cooling diverter valve issue that was a bit more sporadic that was much faster to fix. In any case, you should be able to get a loaner truck, gets a little tricky when it is time to return the loaner if they get yours fixed while you are in Kentucky. If you have a decent relationship with your dealer they might work with you on that. But hopefully it's a loose wiring harness or something along those lines.

Note: I also noticed recently that when a few of the recent onslaught of updates installed, my front motor would stop working and my available power would limit to 56%. This went away after I had the truck off for a few hours, I'm sure it's related to the reboot after the update, so not thinking it's what is happening with yours, but pointing out they aren't all doom and gloom.
Note that the CSP bulletin is for all of the trucks, they update the software that monitors for failed battery cells, and in some cases find them right after the update.

Wow - that is a radical entrance into the 2023 Lightning world - best of luck and keep us posted.

A bit of good news today, got my truck back. They did the 23B57 TSB which apparently took them only about an hour. Service tech said it was probably the cause of my service light, but I doubt it. Still they ran a check and no issues found. I'm taking it as good news, but it's unnerving to know that at any moment my brand new truck can just drop and limit me to 20mph. I hope this never happens on a freeway. I'm attaching the short write up here for reference.

Wow - that is a lot to go through - I'd be in their buyback queue & on to a new vehicle.
I can understand why people are hesitant to go to EV. It takes a lot of effort. I drove my Sierra for 1 year and 16k miles with zero issues. I got in and drove. Now I'm running mileage calculations to make sure I have range, researching routes prior to driving, watching wind/weather reports prior to long trips, learning how to do electrical calculations, hiring contractors to do wiring in my house, researching plug adapters to charge in a variety of situations, etc. Now I'm tenacious, and a glutton for punishing challenges, but the average person has no stomach for all of this. I feel bad because I tried to get my wife hyped up about EV's as her use case is a perfect fit; but guess who was driving it went into limp mode... lol... you guessed it. Her very first drive in my truck (or any EV), and it hit limp within 5 minutes of leaving the house. Going to be a while before I can sell her on one.

Valid points and Ford is making it difficult on EV owners. In October the 'recall for lightbar' was 'completed' on my '23 Lariat - but apparently it wasn't given my research so it goes in next week - dealership is negligent at best.

Dealer has had mine for 29 days, replacing battery module. My screen always needs to be reset every 5 start ups or so. Winter range was terrible. Trading it in as soon as I get it back. Had it for 8 months. EV life not for me
Thank you for sharing - 12V battery being replaced for me - so 10+ days in service to do that - 30+ days total 1st year - what vehicle will you trade it in for & how big a cost hit on the EV - 40% or so?

Just have to be patient with Ford, and EVs, in general, as they work out the bugs. Everyone going to NACS is much huge for general public adoption due to how much is simplifies things. With that said, I think a general EV owner needs to understand the difference between AC and DC charging. That could take a really long time.

I have a 23 lariat er, and today had the 2 customer service bulletins completed battery module replacement and reprogramming. I started at 830 and was done by 1030. I got 2 updates in the last month including 6.2.0, hope that this work allows the software to become current. I have had no issues with this truck and am at 5000 miles.
