Behind the rear passenger seat
Right on! And thank you brother. It looks like the location of the spare tire lowering mechanism directions are included in the package that I see. I never noticed that there was a compartment behind that side of the seat. The space underneath that spot is very convenient I have a large bottle jack stored there.

Find a new dealership and forget this one.
No customer service , report to Ford.
I have a pretty good one as far as dealers are concerned, but they are all a racquet. I absolutely hate that now when you call the dealership to set up a service appointment, your call goes to a central call center. The person setting the appointment calls your vehicle an F one hundred and fifty.... ummm goodbye, I'll pass on my 10k service thank you very much. I've owned an f two hundred and fifty diesel for 21 years , and it's only seen the dealer one time, so this scares the crap out of me. And I personally did all the other repairs but that one on my f250, and it was only because I couldn't figure out how to get my one headlight working!🤣🤣🤣 and they tried to charge me $1500. I walked out paying a little more than $500. That service writer didn't know what hit him.

No central center out here , your call goes right to your dealership!

The worst thing is, and I am not sure its Ford or Google or both's fault but android auto sometimes just wigs out and will not work no matter what you try. It never retries and never reconnects by itself. In fact if you for some reason walk away from the truck for a minute with your phone in your pocket good luck getting it to notice you came back.

My iphone frequently struggles to reconnect carplay if I leave the truck 'running' and go inside a store or something and come back...so my guess is Ford is the culprit here...

23 Lariat Extended Range

1. Poor mobile phone integration - difficult to make calls - audio disconnects
2. Poor rear view camera view while driving - Full View Not Available plastered on the view
3. Limited or non-existent auto-steer in rural areas.

Really drives well - enjoying it so far.
Im having similar issues. Blue Cruze stopped working..Also having issues with making calls.

Oh it's infuriating. Leaving the truck and coming back is the worst. I try turning off and on the WiFi and Bluetooth, powering down the phone and nothing works. Still not sure what actually gets it to reconnect. I am finding the Ford pass software really crappy too. I've had the truck like 8 months and 10k mikes now and I absolutely love the truck, but the software leaves much much much to be desired. Is it possible it's getting worse as time goes by? Or am I just getting more fed up? Still not upset enough to start driving my f250 again 😂

I abandoned wireless CarPlay in favor of the old-fashioned USB cable. I initially did this because the touch screen responses are faster over a cable. However, a nice “side effect” is CarPlay rarely has any trouble reconnecting.

1. Making appt thru Ford app resulted in no response from neither Hennessy or Five Star Ford.

2. Cedric at Five Star told me my leak was my fault for parking the truck under trees and would likely cost me $350. It was covered.

3. When making appt, asked if they could rotate the tires and take care of the customer satisfaction bulletins, and gave Cedric the numbers.

When I got there, Cedric said he'd have to look them up. And added the bulletins are only for if I have a problem and not to worry about them, even though they apply to my truck.

3. While there for the leak, asked if they could rotate the tires and take care of the customer satisfaction bulletins. They neither rotated the tires nor did anything about the customer service bulletins.

Truck continues to leak.

4. Going back for 2d leak fixing appt, asked again about the customer bulletins, and added a 3d. Sat there for three hours before Cedric told me the leak guy was in another state.

And that he did nothing about the bulletins bc no one had time to check out the truck.

5. When making new appt for leak, was told:

The bulletins would require it's own appt

Can we make on the same day, I leave my truck and get a loaner, as allowed by at least one of the bulletins? Nope to all. And the haven't had a loaner available for months.

Can the come to house to take care of the leak (since it's a subcontractor who does his work in their parking lot using their hose and/or have two of the service bulletins work done at my house as allowed by the bulletins. Nope.

Can they tow the truck as allowed by the bulletins. Nope.

Etc, etc, etc...in short, I don't consider doing the least possible and making me feel like a nag customer service or a very good experience.
You definitely should be reporting this to the Ford customer satisfaction team. Perhaps @Ford Motor Company can help you out.

I'm impressed. They contacted me. We all have problems, even the Lightning, but the Lightning team is trying to be proactive to fix theirs.

Probably not something you hear very often but thanks @Ford Motor Company.

You're building good will!

I can’t find the hazard lights for the life of me. I’ve done extensive searches and looked through the user manual. Can someone guide me to where it is?
Here you go. It’s a button under the screen where I circled in red
