I have a F-150 lightning Lariat in production and scheduled for delivery within a month. If anyone wants to buy it from me for MSRP plus dealer cost let me know. Dealer cost is only tax and license. MSRP is approx. 80K. It can be picked up as new no miles besides what the manufacturer puts on it. Your way to go to the front of the line if you want this configuration. So why am I doing this???? I had 2 reservations and just received the second invite to build and taking delivery this summer works out best for my family.

Are you going to have to give up your reservation if you don't take delivery of this truck? Any potential buyer is going to get dinged twice for tax with this arrangement. If it's MSRP is below $80k they'll miss out on a $7.5k tax break. So as not to get stuck with the truck you might consider bailing on it. Maybe you could refer someone to the dealership.

Dealer will just keep it and give me my deposits back. In Arizona we don't pay tax when you buy a private vehicle sale. The other option that can occur is both names start on title in Az then the vehicle is retitled with just one name. Many work arounds. The MSRP is 79,975 so it does qualify for $7500 if income limits are meant.
