So, taking a poll of the order banks will reopen for those with reservations on Aug 4. This is a date that has been in Ford materials for beginning MY '23 scheduling. What say you?

I appreciate your participation but post your source then to support your thoughts. Aug 4 is a known official date from Ford.

I spoke with ford motor Lightning marketing back in April, again a few weeks ago, and it was a reported date from my dealer from the intel they had. It has been pretty consistent as far as I have seen. Id love to be wrong, trust me. Just trying to make sure we dont go back into that loop of insanity too soon.

It's funny, forgot about that thread, but I had put Aug 16 on my calendar due to that and did know know how it got there! LOL With that said, a Tuesday is unusual when everything else has been a Thursday. I'm going to keep posting these each week until it happens and will use Thursday so Ford can "preempt" me if they really do it on a Tuesday.

maybe?! 2022 trucks are still being schedule into October, that doesn’t bold well for an increased production rate

It's really not looking good for anything happening this month. I'm just thinking back to January and there were rumors flying around in the media in the weeks leading up to the order banks being opened, dealerships were given a playbook in December (sorry if playbook isn't the right term), Long McArthur Ford put out a video with information on the Lightning ordering process on 12/10/21 (this even explained the 2 week wave process and dealer prioritization), Ford sent out an email titled "Ordering opens soon for the F-150 Lightning™ truck" on 12/21/2021. So far, this summer, it has been absolute silence from Ford, I can't any media articles about order banks reopening, Long McArthur hasn't said anything about the Lighting in his weekly videos that I have seen, shoot even Twitter is silent as far as I can tell about order banks reopening. I have even attempted to get an update from my dealership about my place in line, but haven't had success hearing from the salesman. All this leads me to believe that Ford won't be reopening order banks anytime soon. I would love to be wrong.

Ford is literally not accepting orders since they have such a back log. You just have to wait until they start accepting again; the shut it down in December when they hit like 200k. My bet is 6 months to a year until they take more reservations; complete guess.

Further, on a State of Charge interview, the head of EV for Ford said new a new order wave is imminent which matches the 8/10 date. I'm thinking 95% likely wave 1 of MY '23 is 8/10 or 8/11.

I didn't see the State of the Charge interview, I'll attempt to find it. As to "what I'm seeing"... my point is that outside of the above 8/10/2022 date posted here, I'm not seeing or hearing anything, and that by comparison to what we heard and saw in December leading up to January, that doesn't bode well. I'll check out the State of the Charge interview though.

That's what I was hoping to find out- is how I know when they open back up and how to put my name in. Is it just looking on the Ford website or through a dealer? Is there somewhere to get notifications to my email when they open to go log in?
