I placed my reservation on May 20, 2021. 16 months later I have been notified that I can now place my order. The Pro price has jumped $7k. In addition, I can not order the Pro or XLT. I'm being forced to purchase a much more expensive truck. I want to order a Pro and I am willing to wait until they can make it. By not allowing me to order what I want they are forcing me to pay a price much higher than what they promised when I reserved one. This is a horrible way to do business. I can not believe that it is legal to do this. For 30 years I have driven Ford trucks. This whole experience sours my opinion of Ford. They should honor their word.

one word for you - INFLATION
2024, we are likely to see another $7k-$10k on top of it.

the other part...well...I guess you didn't read the T&Cs when you put in your reservation. Never sign up for anything blindly without understanding what you are doing, that's my advice to you.

Why does Walmart advertise $50 TVs at Thanksgiving and then not allow you to buy one? i am sorry for the experience you’re having, mine sucks too, but this kind of thing is hardly a new phenomenon.
It’s also just like airlines advertising cross-country flights for $99. There are only a limited number available.

I feel and share the op's pain to some extent. Ford never promised anyone a vehicle at a certain price. I am only interested in the PRO but realized long ago that I was very unlikely to be able to order 1 and have come to peace with that.

May 20th (8am MST) order as well. Youre in a lot better situation than most even being able to order at this point. Personally I have no problem with them raising the price... thats supply and demand at work. Fine. What I have a problem with is Ford's allocation system of processing reservations that have forced many day one (May 19th) and May 20th orders into a higher priced product. I find this extremely unfair.

even to add more to your aggravation, Ford never said that the 'first in line' back in May of 2021 would be the 'first to order', either. We ASSUME that's how it works, but that's not in writing anywhere in their reservations terms and conditions. They just put out a way for us to reserve the ability to possibly order one. There's also no one that 'knows' how many orders, just like yours, hit the button at the same time. With only 15-20,000 units produced in the initial model year, and with many of those going to FLEET customers, some in very large batches, we get easily aggravated about something we really don't have the facts about.
But, it IS human nature to assume that 'first to reserve' is 'first to order'...
