Also, wanted to add, that I surf. I have only used my key once, and that was to drive home from the dealership. I set up my PAAK then. When I surf, I leave my iPhone in my truck and use my watch to lock and unlock my Lightning. It works really well. It could be a little faster to connect/lock/unlock because sometimes it takes 5-10 seconds, but that really is a first world problem. I am stoked in comparison to what I used to have to do to lock, unlock, and drive my Lightning.

I have had the truck since late November and still do not have PaaK. Does anyone know if there has been a delay in rolling this feature out?
First, I think only the 15" screens get PaaK (Lariat and Platinums). Then, when was the truck built? I think trucks coming off the line in late August got PaaK from build day. I really, really hate to say this, but you may want to check with your dealer.

I got the truck off dealer demo, they got the truck in June of 2022 I purchased the truck in late November 2022. It is a Lariat ER with the 511A package. Unfortunately the dealer doesn't know anything about the truck, small town dealer.

We have heard from recent buyers that the later truck builds have PaaK (Phone as a Key) installed from the factory. For those of you that have PaaK and have linked your phones, is anyone using PaaK exclusively, not carrying the fob at all? How is it working for you?

I don't carry the key fob for my Mustang Mach E. In fact, it was one of the early deliveries that only came with one fob. I love PaaK, although it has some limitations.

What are people finding in using PaaK on their Lightning?
I used it exclusively for about two weeks. Then at the office parking lot yesterday I got a popup saying "restart now or else key is required." So I restarted. And I turned it back off. Same message. I did it again. No message. And I was able to drive home fine. But today I'm carrying the key again; that experience scared me.

(But now I'm annoyed by this massive key back in my pocket after getting used to having less!)

My experience, in using PAAK for almost 4 years between Tesla and Ford, is that sometimes the phone needs to be awake for it to work. What I mean by that is if the truck doesn't recognize PAAK, I just tap my phone screen to wake it up. That usually fixes the problem.
