Build date was 10/13/22 but haven’t seen my truck yet. Could it be waiting for a chip? Anyone have any idea how people are getting 2023 yr models and I can’t get my 2022?

What does the dealer say? They should be able to find it. Do you have a VIN number? Have you checked your online order tracking status through the Ford web site? Have you received an email with a picture of the truck coming off the assembly line? Knowing these things would help. You also need to factor in shipping distance to your location, you didn't say where you're located. Good luck!

Are you, or anyone else, waiting on their Lightning in North Ga?

Last week I saw a carhauler pulled off on I75 Northbound exit 263, with rear tire on fire, and a Lightning pretty well scorched just above that tire.

I feel so bad for that owner. I assume (hope) Ford will take car of them. I'd be willing to let them slip in line in front of mine.

They tell me they don’t know other than it’s waiting for shipment. When I go on the tracking site it keeps telling me for the last month that it could take a few day to a week before it ships. The site has not updated for several weeks.

My build date was 10/31, delivered 12/5 due to chip shortage. It actually went into production on time, but put on a shipment hold due to chip shortage as confirmed by my dealer.
