Hi all,

Any one have information on when orders will open again? My dealer in Southern CA says they have had 19 folks order, and I am like 125th or something in THEIR queue. Also, any benefit to switching to a dealer with fewer reservations, or would that "put me back" to the beginning of the line?

My understanding was that reservation holders could switch dealerships if there were able to improve their overall position without having to "go to the end of the line". However, it's worth considering that dealerships with lots of allocations may have more people in front of you (as you are now 125), but a dealership where you may hypothetically end up 20th may only get 5 or 6 allocations. By all means, look around, but if I had to guess, at this point you may not be able to improve your position all that much.

What a stupid ass system with the dealer allocations. Should be FIFO like other Ford models are going to.

Should have split the EV business off early in and sold direct to consumer. (More complicated than it sounds).
The allocation system is dumb.
The dealer shenanigans are dumb
The secrecy is dumb
It's this big dark cloud over a presumably great product.

The dealership model is antiquated, lumbering along, out of touch with modern society.
