I've yet to find a full list of what this service provides access to. Ford is vague: "With Ford Streaming, you can stream your favorite music, podcasts and audiobooks, as well as your local and global news right from your vehicle." Don't I get those on my phone already?

What would I get for $10 a month?

It sounds like if you have a smart phone you do not need it. You get the same through CarPlay it seems.

Until they add streaming apps like Spotify, pandora, apple music, tidal, slacker, etc...this doesn't make sense.

My "free Trial" was up on the 19th, i have no idea what it was supposed to provide

My guess is they use the cell signal they have to power certain apps that most not be ready. Would be cleaner than using phone but no way I would use it.

I think it's only related to Amazon and its products e.g. Amazon Music which you can stream via Alexa.

Maybe this is a coincidence but I let my streaming expire as I have unlimited on my phone anyway but now the ford pass app can no longer connect to my truck. Even when I am in it with android auto active. Any ideas anyone?

Numerous threads on this glitch. You need to pull negative terminal on you 12v battery. Leave off 60s and reconnect. Do it swiftly to avoid arching. Ford is working on a fix.
