The, I don't even know what to call it.... the border of the dash on the left seems to be coming apart. (see photo: on the left and the right). It's supposed to be flush, but it isn't.

With the upcoming massive Ford ramp up in production buyers really need to pay attention to the fit and finish details. Problems like these with the low numbers being produced does not bode well going forward when a much larger number will be produced at a new/upgraded facility with new workers.

While a lot of any manufacturers interior can just pop off and snap on, if you don't know how it is best to contact the dealer. Especially since the interior isn't really new or specific to the Lightning. Depending on how chill your dealer is they might just know what to do and fix it right there without having to leave it.

UPDATE: In the week it took to get the car into the dealer, had three other issues.

1. The rubber on top of the running board began to peel up just like the guy in this video:issues with the Lightning after 100 miles
2. Saw an "Air Dam System Fault - See manual" error a couple of times. Pops up and disappears every couple days.
3. Got a flat tire.

Original issue, as well as the flat tire, were fixed.

The air dam system, the service guy thinks it was just some dirt in the motor gears. He cleaned it and it's not come back.
The rubber on top of the running board, is covered by the warranty. He ordered a whole new running board. (Feels extreme, but is what it is).

Had the same problem with the passenger side running board. Rubber on top was separating. Took it to local Ford dealer (not where i got the truck from) and they evaluated it, sent a pic to Ford and now it is being scheduled for replacement. While i was there they graciously washed it. BZ to Gosch Ford in Temecula.
