I was wondering what everyone is thinking for the 'emergency' kit in the bottom compartment of the frunk. So far I have the portable charger, and ordered the converter so I can plug the portable charger into the 9.6kw Pro-Power port. Additionally, I'm thinking about a 120v jump-start box & an extension cord in case I run across someone in a dead 12v battery. It seems safer than trying to use a set of cables on the F150.

But what else is everyone thinking of carrying?

In an ICE i've always carried a small tool set and typically a 4 way lug wrench which is much easier to use than what gets packaged with the truck. However, my thought all of that goes under the rear seat. I keep those things in a Tuffy or similar tool bag along with the hitch receiver and at least 4 ratchet style tie down straps and my 20' tow strap.

I was carrying my M18 1/2" impact in my old truck for lug nuts + a lug-nut impact set, so I might move that over too to one of those places. I've got a multi-ball hitch to go under the back seat, however that under-back seat is going to be VERY difficult for me to use with a car-seat in the center seat.

I think one of the things Ford missed is an electrical outlet under the rear seat. I know there are plenty in the Frunk but for the most part I won't carry anything long term up there. Under the seat one could always keep a battery charger, etc. Or maybe they feared we would, and it would generate too much heat.

I'm hoping one of the things that someone comes up with 'soon' is a way to mount one of the standard drill-battery chargers in the frunk in some way. I would imagine a replacement panel to the pro-power 'area' could be installed that had an integrated M18/dewalt/etc battery charger as well.

At the moment nothing. Tools will go in the swing case in the bed. emergency stuff will go in the storage under the back seat (though I might reconsider depending on how the child seat handles). Definitely a bat under the rear. I'll end up using that partition too much, close to daily.

I'm thinking about what I can block the inner frunk popper button though.

So far I have an umbrella and my shovel in the storage of the back seat. There is also room behind that storage bin if you don't want to fold it up.
