Somewhat frustrating that there’s no simple way to display what update version is currently installed. If someone knows otherwise please share, because it appears that if I don’t write it down at the time that there’s no way to pull it up in the vehicle or in the app. My latest update loaded yesterday while driving. I did not write down or memorize the version number. On my app I get this completely useless message telling me to get the details in the vehicle where the details are not available. @Ford Motor Company please address this shortcoming. All of us should be able to easily display the current software version installed in our vehicle at all times. Screenshot photos of worthless FordPass app information.

Did you check vehicle under software updates? Usually shows up there for a few days

Well do we go by features? Do you have PAAK? Does your range show 280 when charged to 90%? Does your heated seat bring up a slider or toggle through?

So just bought a used 22 lariat that was on lot for 4 months. My software updates screen says up to date but there’s no way to see version? Can’t seem to find paak anywhere on phone and I don’t have the updated toggle for the AC etc using the volume wheel. Any options to force an update?

1. Take a deep breath.
2. Get it home, connect to your home wifi, get connected to ford pass, set automatic update time.
3. There is no apparent rhyme or reason for when or how updates are pushed. There is also no good way to know where you are until you get one.
4. Keep checking for updates. I have yet to have it come back and say update available, however I have had update show up 15-20 minutes later.
5. If you haven't gotten an update in a day or two, try throwing a trickle charger on 12v battery in frunk.
6. Try not to get too many speeding tickets enjoying the new truck!

Ok been gone a month and gotten 2 updates in the past few days. The latest I have is 4.1.1 (the other was a longer code and I assume they are different types)
I’m guessing the 3 digit are related to sync??
anyone have the new ui? What is that update?
Edit:
4.1.2 is the new sync ui
4.1.3 is video streaming apps

edit: 4.1.2 just came in after a drive. Fyi all on cell no wifi

Ok so I’m still on 4.1.2 but paid and went ahead and activated Ford streaming and low and behold the you tube and nbc button’s popped up.
so now I’m wondering if you are on wifi, like at home you’ll get 4.1.3 with the video apps and if you have the streaming the apps show up on 4.1.2???

Check your software updates page on the truck and/or FordPass.
