These Power Ups require the 12v battery be at a high state. I encourage you all to set an evening update schedule, Drive the truck right before then, and plug in to charge.

Thanks @ChasingCoral - that did the trick. Still no PaaK tho And for some reason it charged to 100% despite the fact that I had it set for 90%.

Just got the 4.1.1 update MY23 Lariat, took ownership first part of Dec 22. I finally got the modem working last week (pull the 12v, re-connect).

interesting - my updates keep failing and all my old tricks don't work. So you disconnected the 12V and then reconnected?

Finally got PUI1009-MIL-DTE to go through last night after weeks of fighting with it.
Here's my post on a different thread, but probably trickle charging the 12V is what did it, although not right away.

OTA software update - not working

My mannequin is not getting OTA updates. I know it was not driven much at the dealership. Ford Pass App says 3.5.5 is available. For the last 10 days I’ve been driving it every day and charging every night so I’m pretty sure the 12v battery is charged. I called Ford and they are going to push...

Sir: Do you have any insider information that explains how Ford sends out its OTA updates? I took delivery of my Lariat EB in mid-July 2022, and I assumed that my truck would receive OTA updates at roughly the same time as all other trucks manufactured/delivered during the same time frame. Apparently, this is a poor assumption on my part. Anything that you can share regarding OTA scheduling would be appreciated. PS - I am really looking forward to receiving the update that includes PAAK. Thank you. Lou from Georgia.

Lou - I know they batch the OTA updates, but I'm not sure there is way to know when yours are sent out. Want to know what I do? I wait until @ChasingCoral gets his and I know mine come out about 10 days after that. I had a July 15th delivery, so I'm roughly the same time frame as you.

I have 22-PU1009-MIL-DTE that failed twice on me. I put my ctek trickle on it today and it showed the 12V at 50%ish. Hopefully tonight with the trickle on it and the 12V up it installs. Fingers crossed….

That's what fixed it for me. Mine was at 50% too....

Hallelujah, finally worked. I drove about 70 miles yesterday, left it OFF the EVSE source and it updated at my 11:30pm scheduled time. Only took me 2 weeks… for 22-PU1009-MIL-DTE. I did throw it on the 12V trickle on Saturday. 👍 I am hoping 4.x shows up next.

For me, 22-PU1009-MIL-DTE was the big problem. Once that came through, the 4.x.x's came rolling through, even when I was driving. Good luck.
