I was under the impression that 100% charge would be around 320 miles. I would even be ok with 300. But when I plug my truck in to charge to 90% it says it will be at 248 miles... That comes out to 275 when fully charged at 100%. Anyone else getting similar numbers?

Do I need to check any cables?

I really don’t pay attention to it when charging because it only tells me a history of how I’ve been driving. The EPA number (283 Hwy, ER batt) tells you what to expect if you mimicked driving the EPA protocol. Pay attention to the number as an informed guess while you’re driving that tells you how far you’ll go if you keep driving way you’ve been driving.

Sounds like you need a locking charge port cover. Someone must be siphoning electrons out of your battery. ;)

My ER Lariat gave me a 100% charge range of 310 miles, and then more recently of 299 miles. It varies based on your driving habits and usage history. I typically charge to 85%, and I want to say that gives me a 250 mile range, but I can't recall exactly on that part. As mentioned, it's an estimate to begin with that is based on previous usage data, so your mileage may vary (literally). The weather is getting cooler here in PA where I live, but the truck is garaged, so I'm curious to see how the range is impacted.

I'm guessing you are new to EVs. Ford's Guess-O-Meter is intentionally conservative and will become more so during the winter months. I suggest you read up on how to accurately determine your truck's range:

Ok. With the loss of engine noise it is very difficult to realize how fast I am going unless I look at the speedometer. And I was late to a meeting yesterday and floored it a few times to get around slow cars.

I was just worried because I read other posts on the past of cables being loose from the assembly line.

When I first got mine, it was ~90% SOC and it listed 250, I think, maybe more. I haven't hit that again because I don't drive like that unless I need to. To get 300 miles you have to be doing at or better than 2.290 mi/kWh and 2.442 mi/kWh for 320 miles

Yesterday I went to work and I did 2 mi/kWh in the morning and 2.6 mi/kWh on the way home. The morning was 90% highway and on the way home was maybe 40% (I was on a meeting phone call and didn't want to deal with the highway so I took the longer way home).

I have the standard battery it will only charge 183
miles at a 100% took a short drive 38 miles on highway and back on highway it took off 153 miles, that 2 miles for every mile a drive plug it in charge 100% 183 miles what happened to the 240 miles call ford nobody knows nothing

Everything affects battery range. Your short description above lacks tons of information that would affect real world mileage. Not judging, just saying we are the first and the learning curve is pretty steep.

It's been fluctuating up and down depending on how I drive.
Thanks for the post @ChasingCoral
Can a mod close this thread so we can have less of these posts?

Sure, I could close this thread. Someone will just open another like it. The big joke on the Mach E Forum is how many threads about “what happened to my range” before spring.
