Does this mean they've been deleted from the order? I assume if so it's because of chip shortages/ cost cutting.
What does On-Board Scales and Smart Hitch Removal AND Heated Steering Wheel Removal mean?

I'm glad to hear that the steering wheel has the potential to be added later. I am not terribly worried about the scales. I do wish there was more of a discount for them, though.
Who thinks Ford will let you add them back on for the price they discounted taking it off?

I would agree about parts availability being an issue when placing an order. I just got a call from my dealer indicating they could not place order unless I acknowledged deletion of:

I got $650 off on mine and another $140 for the heated steering wheel. Was pretty happy with those discounts.
I’ve seen BMWs and others with 40-50 off on heated steering wheels and such

So your dealer deducted that from MSRP?
My understanding is that yes, this will get deducted from MSRP. That's how my order shows.
@TechDaddy3x - Mine doesn't (yet) show the $140 discount for heated steering wheel, but I was just joking that if you took your truck in later to get it added back I highly doubt the dealership would be doing anything to your truck for $140.

Yeah, you don't want to see the amount of rice increases we've seen here. Just my Lightning from 22 to 23 went up by about 11K canadian...

Ford did prior to delivery. It was on my build via ford.com and reflected on my window sticker

Damn, my window sticker doesn't show any credit!! Only the Pro Power Onboard, Max Trailer Pkg and Bedliner. I have the Pro model, if that matters..........

I am sure it does matter. Mine’s a Lariat so there was more to the Tow package that just the scales and smart hitch. Package was like $1100 and i got a credit of $650. I imagine since they removal they have already adjusted pricing.
If you try to build a new truck on ford.com and add the tow package it shows on board scales and smart hitch removal (required). No credit, already built into the price.

Much like my window sticker. Why does the GVWR state 8400. Shouldn’t it be 8550. I think this is Canada’s way of collecting the luxury tax. All lightning’s with the lariat extended range battery state 8550 when you build and price in Canada and the US.
All terrain tires drop the GVWR below 8500. Need all season tires to get the 8550 GVWR.

Yeah, Ford screwed us on that one: here take some AT tires for free because we're screw ups but we're gonna lower the GVWR so pay 2000$ luxury tax instead 🤦♂️
