Of Ford’s current model lineup which one do you think is most likely to get electrified next?

My guess would be the Expedition. It’s due for a redesign in a couple of years and it’s fairly close to the F-150. The new Lightning platform could be easily adopted for the Expedition. It already has IRS on a ladder frame, and the interiors are identical too. Ford could follow the Rivian pattern (truck first, SUV second). They could most likely reuse most of the tooling built for the Lightning, so the production investment is relatively low compared to an all-new model.
With the current gas prices the demand for full size SUVs is going to drop. GM is a few years behind (but they are watching).
And then there is the matter of the Lincoln Navigator where an EV platform would absolutely crush the competition. When you think about it, there is no other electric luxury SUV on the market (of that size) and I could see the Nav compete against the very top niches of the market.

Sounds like it'll either be a truck the size of the Ranger or R1T, Explorer and Lincoln on maybe a Mach E platform. All of these supposed dates are '23-'24. Crossing fingers for an S650 EV but will probably just have a hybrid (that is manual).

I expect a BEV S650 but not in the first year.
