It seems like it was in a holding lot for a long while. I kept trying to activate the FordPass so I knew when someone got in the truck and started it. They always declined it but I knew it had to be on a train when it wasn’t declined for a few weeks. I absolutely love it! It is so quiet and smooth. It’s very familiar compared to my 2018 ICE but in my opinion is more solid and crazy responsive. I can’t believe how quick it is. You can’t help but smile every time you push the peddle down past half. I haven’t had much chance to customize it yet to my preferences but it seem pretty intuitive and the screens are nice. The light grey interior has grown on me in the past 2 days.
It’s getting a lot of looks and questions from peers but I haven’t had it out much….. yet

Congratulations! It looks great.
I never got a built email. The tracker went from in production to built and then shipped and now says in production again. Ford and the dealer say it’s at a train depot 30 minutes from my house but no one can tell me when it will arrive. It’s been there almost two weeks. I am so frustrated with the inconsistency of Ford’s tracking system.

It’s in Richmond, CA. 32 miles from my dealer in Petaluma and it has been there over a week. Just in limbo. Ford said it’s sitting there pending prior orders. The manager at the dealer sent me an email Monday saying there’s been no updates on the truck in over two weeks. It’s like the left hand has no idea what the right hand is doing.
I was just in contact with my dealer who gave me the train it left Dearborn on. I had no luck tracking it that way and it ended up at the train yard 78 miles from my house. It must have got out on a truck the next day or the day after because it was here Monday. Sucks yours is stuck in a holding lot waiting for a transport to your dealer.
Based on Union Pacific tracking, my truck arrived its destination in City of Industry this afternoon. I hope it finds a ride to LA tomorrow.
I see the Fiesta Ford sticker on your truck. I still need to pick up my accessories from them when my truck arrives. The sales folks there are totally cool showing me their demo Pro truck .
I received an email from ford on 6/22 that my vehicle has been delivered. I confirmed with my dealer that same afternoon. Made an appt that same afternoon for 330pm and test drove the lightning for 3 miles. signed all necessary paperwork and left the dealership a little after 6pm.

Picked up Saturday , 7.23 - I'm in LA!

Looking good. Mine is just doing mostly summer camp drop of duty haha.
Folks who are curious about it are tradesman who really wants to see if the frunk will fit their tools. the frunk is the game changer for them as they can free up space in the bed.

Honestly other than how much I love to drive it - The "what can I do with my frunk + outlets" is the most exciting part to me. Can't wait to see what people are doing/try some cool things.
When I read your post, I thought it was one of my old post. I also sold my truck with plans of buying another. Now I'm without a truck. How long ago did people reserve before they actually started ordering? I reserved with Grody Ford about 10 months ago and haven't a clue of where I am on the list.
If you don't mind me asking, how long ago did you reserve? I'm trying to get a rough idea how much longer I should expect to wait. I'm on reserve at Grody in Brea, Ca.

I had EVs before but this will be my first truck.
Reservation date: 05/19/21
Order date: 04/12/22 (wave 6)
Scheduled production week: 08/01/22
Hopefully, there won't be any delays and I will be able to get my F-150 this month 🤞

Wow. Looks like I still have a few months to wait. I think I reserved in October. At least I have an idea now. I'm honestly getting a little tired of the wait. There just doesn't seem to be a lot of alternatives that make me happy. Thanks for the info!
I put my reservation in August of last year. I was able to build and order in January and took delivery in June.
