I ordered 5/20 at around 9am. I will not get a Lightning this year. I have come to peace with that reality, I suggest you do the same. GL
I am taking the horse race approach. I have paid reservations in for the Ford, Chevy, GMC and Tesla. It is a race to who can get me an order first, gentlemen.

I had hoped this would make the wait more fun... but in the end, I have the same alter anxiety as the rest lol.

Be sure to check your reservation on your Ford account. That usually updates before the email arrives.

Do we have any good feel for how many from May 19 already got order invites, versus those of us who were morning of May 20?
I wish there was any data on that.
Based on the small world of data related to viewers of this forum who shared their reservation, order and production data
266 reservationists listed on 5/19/2021
25 of these folks reported that they placed an order between 1/6 and 2/17
20 of these folks reported build dates ranging from 4/11 to 5/30

Left unanswered, people who got an invitation but chose to extend to MY23 because the trim level they were looking for was sold out, also unknown are how many out right canceled due to pricing, disappointment with prioritizations, new baby's and world events, but somewhere I've seen a statistic which said 47% conversion rate, so if 53% is the 15,000 trucks planned this year then about 28,000 were solicited this MY, these numbers are off because many folks are still sitting on the virtual fence until cut off day 3/31/22

Conversion rate is a statistic I'd like to see, but never will. I imagine conversion rate did a quick tapering off when feature cram turned Lightning into a $70,000+ proposition.

It looks like the next round of waves will start this summer for deliveries in the fall.

It looks like demos are starting to show up at dealers.

Those are probably pre-production prototypes on a road show.
