I spoke to a ford representative last week because I was getting confusing (wrong) information from my dealer. Very helpful guy on the phone, and he also told me I will be in the next wave to place an order. My reservation date 7/14/22

Probably depends if you are still on your dealer's priority list. If you are, you may have a shot. If not, I very much doubt it.

This makes me want to call around and see about transferring. I reserved more than a month before you and probably wont be getting a chance to order. This type of thing one of many reasons I am rethinking ordering at all. Oh well. I suppose I should have called around to dealers earlier and trying to find which one would have the shorter list.

How solid is that info? That would be a new development if true. For new order conversion (not deferrals), it has basically been halted since MY '22 wave 6, with only some wave 7 mop up. So maybe that is what they were referring to?
