Ford is definitely in a position to control the message. Not surprised that the 3 most populous states have the most reservation conversions (this could also be driven by CA/NY EV rules posted in other threads) nor am I surprised that Lariat and Platinum are most popular builds (Ford basically said this is what they are building the most of out of the gate).

I was told that I was on wave 2 in early January. But didn’t get any call or notice yesterday about being able to order today. My dealer keeps insisting I’ll be ordering in March

Just got my email 30 minutes ago and was able to order! Super excited and I know I am very lucky. For those that will ask, I am in CA and I reserved on 5/19 at 7:00 pm PST. My dealer has told me I was #3 at their dealership since I first inquired months ago. #1 was the only one that ordered during wave 1 two weeks ago so I am assuming #2 got the email today as well as me (#3) and I don't have any clue about anyone after that. Best of luck to everyone, I hope you all can order soon!

Your reservation was on day 2, might want to see what your dealer will tell you. Not sure how many waves it will take and the number of people to fulfill 2022 production.

My dealer of over 175 reservations seems to be under the impression they are only getting two MY22 Lightnings and I’m #5. Go team.

I was told by the dealer (NY) that I'm #3
First waive they got only one order
Now I got mine so I guess they have more then one at a time

It’s in reservation order at your dealership, excluding the 5-25 slots they were given to prioritize certain reservations to their choosing.
