I haven't got that notification, but did see on another forum that the max towing package has a chip in short supply.

Update from my dealer on my Lariat order, blend date 8/28: … it looks like your Lightning is built, but now on a chip hold at the plant. Once it receives the chip, it will ship. There is not an updated ETA at this time.

I just got a call from my dealer - on chip hold with an ETA to California of October 6
Mine updated to "Built" as of yesterday (9/15)
