I placed my order and paid my deposit for a Lariat SR on October 20th 2022.
Today is December 30th 2022.
No update on production or anything else.My dealership at Maplecrest Ford is off absolutely no help.
Just don't understand why some individuals who ordered after my order date have gotten production dates plus more.
Can anyone enlighten me?

Ford is prioritizing the more expensive vehicles on their factory production lines, no surprise there. Plus various vehicle additions/configurations (even paint color) can put you farther back in line... not to mention they are likely shipping vehicles to certain closer regions first.

Has Ford scheduled a build date yet?

Then why did my Pro and about 20 others that I know of get built in October and November? I think the issue is more your other reason. Something in the order is causing a delay.

Getting info from my dealer is like "pulling teeth"He actually said to me on many occasions that he has no updates. But was quick to point out that this dealership will be charging $5G above MSRP.
Regret assigning Maplecrest Ford in Union NJ as EV dealer.
I did add only a few options but have no idea what the delay is about.

I know the feeling of trying to get your dealer to give some information. My truck has went from the Rouge assembly plant to a lot in the Flat Rock plant. According to my Ford pass app. Asked the dealer to see what the hold was and they say they don't know. Still says in production, built on 12/15. Maybe I will have it by February.

Make sure you call Ford Customer Care rather than your dealer, I ordered on 8/26 and never heard anything and called in November and found out the options I chose were “not a compatible build” and found out since I had not selected to delete the smart hitch and scales they wouldn’t complete my build until it became available (if it ever does) so I had to modify my order to remove that option and received a build date two weeks later.

I ordered on Sept 7th and still crickets. Lariat ER iconic silver (changed color after seeing pics of the Azure Grey) with spray in bedliner. The dealer has sent me the order sheet and heated stearing wheel etc. removed. Have been in touch with dealer who feels like we have done everything appropriately. Have called customer service to make sure there wasn't something holding it up and they were only able to tell me that it's awaiting a production date and once assigned a build date by Ford I would receive an email. I'm interested to see if you figure anything else out... Figured it was just dealer allocation at this point.

We think our dealer's lack of knowing to delete the bed scale and smart hitch option also caused our order to go on hold, and going down on the wait-list. Probably resulted in us losing the $7500 tax rebate for a November or December delivery. Got our build date in February.

I just went back to my build sheet to make sure the bed scale and smart hitch had been removed and they have... So, I can't imagine the bedliner is the holdup. IDK?
