It would be great to hit a button and pull up the cameras at any moment rather than only seeing them while in Reverse gear. Does anyone know if that's an option?

Is it a known fact that there is no way to pull it up on the Lightning?

Yep, I push the camera button at any point in time and see the cameras and 360 view as well (I have the tech package) - super easy to use and access.

I wish I knew the intent of the "FULL VIEW NOT AVAILABLE" splash across many of the camera screens that make them about useless. Maybe there is a reason and it's one of those RTFM things...

On Lightning Lariat with tow technology and max tow I can pull up cameras while driving. Not all views though. Someone will probably beat me to it but otherwise I’ll try to test which ones on the drive to work tomorrow

One way to get the 360 camera to come on when not in reverse is to pull somewhat close to something and then when the side sensors detect an object it causes the 360 degree camera to come up. The issue with this is once you move away from the object enough the camera turns back off.

Touch the truck in the upper left of the screen, controls tab, then camera (2nd from top). Not all are available while driving. I took a video but can only figure out how to upload pictures via my iPhone.
There’s a three bar menu to click to change camera views.

Yeah, I choose the XLT fully loaded because of the tactical controls, and the camera button is one of them . I’ve used tons of times…

I will say at highway speeds you can't select 360. Only bed, backup cam, and maybe one/two others. But at slow speeds you can - I select 360 while pulling up to my driveway before I move into the garage

on the Pro, it's a physical easy-to-reach top left button to go into VIDEO mode, even while driving. You can also select different views, though there are more views available at slow speeds.

Above 5mph? I can view front/360 cameras moving forward but as soon as I accelerate beyond that speed it’s no longer an option. Camera view closes and when I reopen only backup, hitch, and bed cameras can be selected.

When I'm on the highway, several times now, I've gone into the camera and been able to look at all views. Tailgate, bed, front. Yes when I'm not parking and start moving forward it turns off but I can bring it back up if I want to.

My Lariat, big screen, has the ability to select individual cameras. while in camera mode I can select any camera and place it at the top of the split screen.

Anybody here smart enough to get the button from a Ford Edge and connect it to our Sync 4a and use something like FORScan to activate it, so those of use with the large screen can get a hard button instead of 3 touch screen clicks?
