Video: 1,200 mile roadtrip in a Lightning
Sorry, not my trip. I'm still awaiting delivery. The same gentleman on the E-Hermes channel who made a video of the purchase experience just drove 1,200 from northern Ohio to Florida.
Highlights: nice, flat charging curves, 260 mile range on a charge to get through chargerless WV in the rain and twice getting down to less than 5 miles of range in his battery.
While I would run the battery down that low for the WV section because the other choice was an L2 charger off the beaten path, the second time he does this causes damage to his battery for no reason -- he skipped working chargers chargers.
