I finally received my truck this morning. I had already ordered a couple of accessories to install on it. Here are links and pictures of them installed.

I really don’t understand the obsession of putting giant antennas on trucks from the factory. So the other accessory is just that.And I have no quality or signal loss with this new one.

Price and reviews. It is extremely heavy duty and about half the price of the Ford hard tonneaus. It only took about 20 mins to install as well.

The answer is AM out in the Midwest and West. There are parts of the country where long antennas are needed.

The link for the tonneau cover does not have the Lightning as an option. Do all the 22 f-150s have the same size bed?

This is the truck bed cover I used for my Lightning. Took me 2-3 hours to get it installed but I think most people could do it faster than that.

I got the platinum package from peragon, it was on sale for like $200 off when I bought it back in April, I was just banking on it fitting and I’m really happy with it.

I also added some window guards. They mount inside the weather stripping on the window and have given me some trouble with my auto-up feature but I really like how slim they look and so I’m willing to live without auto up on the front windows to keep these. Got these from the local dealership.

And I got the truck ceramic coated and that should help make routine washing and maintaining the paint much easier.

Planning to get the front side windows tinted next week.

Did you have to pay the $99 handling fee with the free shipping? I'm on the east coast.

…and also the radio antenna is slightly taller than your cab and helps when you pull into an area with a low overheard (think parking garages) to gauge the clearance of the cab.

Just choose 2022 and 5.5' bed and you are good.

My wife ordered if for me for Fathers day. I dont remember her saying she paid a handling fee but she might have.

I got rough country retractable cover (still haven't gotten it on, stupid tubes for the water aren't going in - fingers are number), sun visor from covercraft, phone cup holder, swing case (that I'll have my kid do himself), bed mat. I'm also looking at tuxedo baggage carrier.

I ordered the KSA Auto delete cap last week on Amazon and I am waiting for delivery (11/23).

I think I’d go with an FM stubby antenna instead.
