Hi All,
First thread for me. I'm only 6 days into ownership and really enjoy the truck. Everything in general seems to be working but there is much to explore.

On the second night I was driving home on the freeway and Bluecruise kicked in. It was fun and I looked forward to trying it again. But since then I have gone on that same freeway and others that I know are mapped by Ford for Bluecruise but it hasn't engaged again. Am I doing something wrong? Is there some way to make that happen? I use assisted cruise control all the time but I don't recall reading anything about having to do something different to get Bluecruise. Lane Guidance is also engaged. Prompts are activated.

Anybody else experience such a thing or anyone have suggestions that I might not have tried.

Thanks for any help.

For Hands free to be activated the Lane centering must also be engaged with the Adaptive cruise. Check that first.

I put a phone holder in the air vent. blocked the camera watching my face. took an hour to figure out.... i felt dumb, but the stupid car didn't tell me why, so it is dumber
I think I may be dumber than the truck and for several reasons. One, I didn't follow responses on this forum as avidly as I should have. And two, it took me about 6 days to figure this out. It wasn't until the 13th when my wife was driving the truck and asked me how the trucks knows if she looks away. I pointed to the camera and realized that there was a phone holder right between it and the driver.

Thanks to everyone for your patience and assistance. Unfortunately, it's not easy to fix dumb!

Anyone feel like their BC is moving too much side to side within the lane? Noticed it more today then prior driving on I95, made me want to just drive manually instead, was a bit odd how much meandering left and right it kept doing. Maybe the lanes are too wide?
