Keep in mind, your dealer might offer you a check to walk away. If you want to sell it for more, yeah you probably need to buy it and sell it yourself.

I believe you either purchase the truck, or you don't, there's no middle ground - the dealer will have the truck for inventory if you don't, and can sell it to anyone they wish. If you are purchasing the truck, and then attempting to sell it, the next owner will pay the sales tax, again, and will also forfeit any tax credit, since that was for you, and you alone.

I wish it were different, but it's not. This is why dealers would love for all of these Lightnings to be cancelled by their customer at arrival - they see dollar signs, and the market will give it to them.

This better be ER at that price. Also XLT kinda middle of the road trim. If I was gonna resell id go with the Platinum as they seem to be grabbing stupid premiums. For myself, I have decided on a Pro. Something I wont have to worry about wear and tear at all, but still nice as hell and cheap to run.

Platniums have been seeing 30-40K at DEALER auctions, so of course they will add 20-30k to that. XLTs have not yet went across the auction block. They are expecting 15-20K, based on lower price/trim.
