I saw this yesterday. These companies are making a killing on us. It's like a free GoFund Me where they make promises they can't keep and make insane interest while they hold millions of our dollars and deliver little.

I see the man’s point, but I don’t think it’s really applicable to Ford. I have no doubt they will catch up on orders and pretty much anyone who wants a lightning will purchase one in a couple years. The first 2 years will be rough though

This is part of the reason I didn't reserve a Rivian. I'm confident they'll make it to Step 5.

Step 6 (not in the video): who will work on my truck in 5 years? How will I get it worked on in the back country of Utah national parks?
Step 7 (not in the video): Will it go from a 100% Consumer Reports to "Not Recommended" in a couple of years when it becomes apparent they can't make the leap from slow production to mass production without massive declines in quality?

Ford knows how to mass produce vehicles, especially trucks.

Honestly, I always get the suspicious feeling about these startups, easy to call the immature ones playing the shell game, which Musk has mastered, his subsidiaries have so many irons in the fire you wonder if some are just to generate a revenue stream to make other operations run smoother, I'd love to be proven wrong and he does deliver the CT and Roadster someday!

I've invested $$$ in Atlas, hoping their energy division pans out, I think the truck is going to be a long drag-out like CT though.

If you could direct me to where they make insane interest I would appreciate that for my investments.
