Tesla has removed the production 2022 date from the Cybertruck's website. Which I guess means that production is going to be moved back to 2023?

Honestly, I'd be surprised if the CyBeRtRuCk ever makes production (like the Tesla Roadster). Tesla is having mounds of success building the Models 3 and Y, so there is quite the opportunity cost in terms of building CyBeRtRuCks instead of more 3s and Ys. Also, producing a truck like this will be very difficult (stamped stainless steel, development issues that still need to be finalized like the windshield wipers and side mirrors, etc.). Plus, with Rivian, Ford, and GM presumably beating the CyBeRtRuCk to market, I doubt there will be much room left for Tesla's truck to have the splashy impact Musk wants it to have.

There is some news:
Official update on 4th Qtr Earnings Report, late January.
Trimotor and RWD have been dropped, now the lineup is dual motor, quad motor, and Plaid.
Four wheel steering available.
Front end has been changed to comply with safety regs - sharp angles rounded. Some have said this produces an odd appearance by combining a melted front with a sharply angular tail.
Production - 2023 for meaningful volume.
I have a reservation, but will cancel if I can get a 22 Lightning.

Perhaps the delay is the shortage of 4’ windshield wipers.
