I received the new OTA update that now has Youtube and some other streaming options on it. Overall I like it as sometimes the kids and I will watch YouTube on my phone while waiting for school to open, so having it on the console is nice. I see that you need to pay $10/month for the streaming services, or have a WiFi connection. My question is if I just get the AT&T hotspot service, will I still have the same functionality without paying the Ford Streaming service? I'd like to have these features, but without paying for multiple plans and redundancy.

It looks like you could use your phone as a hotspot or get a data plan for your truck.
