Hello! Just wanted to get this thread started and see who else is expecting a Lightning in the Southeast.
I’m from south central KY, Lake Cumberland area. I have a Iced blue silver, Lariat 511A, with max tow, spray in bed liner and carpeted floor mats ordered. My truck production week is 5/16 (TOMORROW!!!) with a 5/20 blend date. I’m excited but really starting to wonder if I’m still months away from receiving my truck. I don’t know why theres not at least some trucks being delivered considering many had build weeks in April. Maybe they will start soon.
Let us know if you are in the Southeast, when you are expecting a Lightning and if you have any more info to alleviate my delayed delivered concerns add those too!

My buddy has an order that is 1 week ahead (5/9 build) and has not heard a word yet
I have to think that FORD's timeline for when customer deliveries will start happening has not been met yet. Whatever that date is or was, they are sticking to that timeline for some reason rather than just start shipping them out all over. I say that because I assume FORD had some allotment of components set aside to at least build the initial so many hundred or maybe even a thousand or so trucks to send out before supply chain or chips became problematic. To my knowledge, only one dealership has received a Lightning (that was apparently in Canada, not far from the factory) and 0 customers have taken delivery. So it makes more sense that FORD is still working through the process to get these trucks to dealerships and customers rather than they don't have the components to even build the mannequin trucks for the dealerships. My dealership's mannequin has been built for weeks but not delivered, they were expecting to have it sometime in April.

I personally believe and hope that they are looking to be strategic from a logistics perspective also. Grouping completed models for transport to the destinations sensibly is more important today than ever before.

From BG, KY. My blend date is next Monday. The dealer told me that typically from built date to their dealership - typical is 2 weeks but they also see several months. So nothing is guaranteed. But now that Farley has tweeted the video of trucks getting loaded; hopefully you get your soon. Nice to meet y'all!

I‘m in Spartanburg, SC. I took delivery of a Lariat ER last Saturday. So far I haven’t seen another Lightning on the road. Shout out if you’re in the upstate and have taken delivery of a Lightning.
