i received a call from my dealer stating that Smoked Quartz is no longer available and I would need to choose a different color. Bummer! That might explain why I do not have a build date yet. Maybe lol

Oh what a shame! Smoked Quartz has always seemed to get short shrift - it was always kind of hidden, was never among the options for the 360 colorizer and you had to search for it to find it in the hard copy brochure, once that came out. I only knew to look for it because of this forum. It looked like such an cool color! If they are canceling it because there weren't enough orders, I gotta say it's not like they gave it much of a chance. Augh between the possibility of this and Iced Blue Silver going away (also rumored), and the loss of the scales and smart hitch, my enthusiasm is currently just a wee bit dampened.

Glad you got yours! I went with Antimatter Blue. It looks fantastic in sunlight but a little darker than I want otherwise. Post some pics when you get is so I can be jealous

Interesting! I got a smoked quartz (I posted pics elsewhere!), and love the color! I didn't have a choice on color, but am glad what I ended up with. My dealer has a non-lightning F150 in antimatter blue, and smoked quartz is similarly blue, except it looks 'dark grey' instead of 'black' when its not bright sunlight

No more Smoked Quartz Metallic Lightnings.

From 2023 announcement:
"F-150 Lightning customers can choose two new colors among the 10 available options – Avalanche Gray and Azure Gray metallic tri-coat. Those colors replace Atlas Blue, Ice Blue Silver and Smoked Quartz Metallic, which are not available on models built starting this fall."
