I got an email from Ford on July 1 that said my truck was built. ETA July 30, 2022 an‍d August 5, 2022.

July 7th I got an email that my truck had shipped. ETA was not stated at that point.

July 19th I got the "Just rolled off the assembly line" email.

August 2nd I get the email "Your vehicle’s previous estimated delivery range of July 30, 2022, and August 5, 2022, has been updated to between August 9, 2022, and August 15, 2022."

Today August 9th - "Your vehicle’s previous estimated delivery range of August 9, 2022, and August 15, 2022, has been updated to between August 23, 2022, and August 29, 2022."

So where is my truck?

I've called the dealer and they say that they haven't seen it "move" yet.

Any ideas?

Your dates are spaced similar to mine, only a month later. (I still don't have the truck.) The born-on image has EXIF date info. The picture came about a week after the truck shipped and the image was almost three weeks old.

What is happening is the complete logistics meltdown in progress. Just-in-time supply chains are badly wounded.

Mine sat for a week or so waiting to be loaded onto a train car. My guess is you are waiting on UP to get it loaded up so they can send it to the rail yard in Utah. Try asking you dealer if they can get you a train car number and track it that way. I was successful in getting updates from UP’s automated trace system to get more accurate updates then what Ford provided via the emails.

A lot of us are in the same position. My original shipped date was 5/29. It was in CA on 6/13 then a week ago their system says it’s back in Dearborn! Dealer says it was shipped before it was ready so they shipped it back. Really? It’s now been in Chicago for two weeks. Starting to regret ordering this truck.

CDL Transport Truck driver shortage, and AUTO Rail Car logistics are problematic right now, meaning that the trains are doing what they can to optimize shipping/moving rail cars in certain regions only when fully loaded rail cars of certain numbers are going to a certain terminal/auto ramp. I can imagine that Utah and nearby states in the west are more sparse for quicker deliveries than here in the east.
I've also seen APRIL build date trucks that are JUST NOW getting delivery dates, crazy.

I f there’s a driver shortage it no made sense to ship my truck to CA and back to Michigan? My wife’s car got here faster from Germany when there were big problems
at CA ports. Ford’s logistics stink.

unfortunately, it's not 'Ford' logistics, it's the transport and rail companies that handle transporting of the vehicle once they leave Ford's back door. Ford has little to do with anything once the truck is built.
I think mine is coming just on a truck not rail - Isn't that what the convoy means on the window sticker? Or is it still shipped rail first?

My window sticker said Convoy as well but it shipped via Train from Michigan to Mira Loma, California. I'm in So Cal. I was able to add my truck to the FordPass app while it was still in the lot in Michigan outside the factory. Someone must have clicked the "ok" button when moving it. I was lucky, in a way... It was rather addictive watching it move, or not move, from Michigan through Illinois, Nebraska, Wyoming, Utah, Nevada and...eventually...California... The worst part was that it was offloaded from the train on Friday 7/29 about 35 miles from my house then sat there for a week without moving. That was the worst part. Finally, last Friday (8/5), it was delivered in the middle of the night Friday morning to the dealer. The dealer did a great job doing the inspection first thing and I had it by 1:30pm. Great experience overall despite some frustration with the lack of info regarding timing, logistics. And the truck is even better than I imagined and has been great to drive, etc. Worth the wait. Hope you feel the same when you get yours.

Congratulations!!!
Mine was in California 30 miles from me for three weeks and then it went back to Michigan. I get to go through the watching it after it shipped from Michigan experience twice.

Thanks! Hang in there. They want to get it right. It would be frustrating to get it when there's something wrong with it. It's unfortunate that someone made a mistake and it was shipped, but at least they caught it before it got to you. They'll get it right and get it back to you. Hopefully you'll love it once you get it. It's nicer than even I imagined it would be and the way it drives and rides is amazing. The way it looks at night is next level.

I'm in Utah, btw.
In Utah too. Mine took a little over a month to get here. Wave 3 order and about 40 days to arrival. It'll get here, it just seems to take forever. I logged into it in my account and as soon as it showed up they accepted the prompt. Popped up on my phone and they didn't even have a chance to call me before I called them. Worth the wait though!

It’s laughable at this point. In the past two weeks I have had three different possible delivery windows given to me. August 9-15 by customer service (most recent estimate 😂), 14-20 Ford Email, and by the 30th from customer service. Unless it shows up today I will keep my fingers crossed for 8/30. The whole experience is killing my enthusiasm.

Still not here. "Your vehicle’s previous estimated delivery range of August 23, 2022, and August 29, 2022, has been updated to between September 4, 2022, and September 10, 2022. "

Hope it arrived in the end. When did it get delivered?
Nope, every tuesday I get another email. Last week it was this "Your vehicle’s previous estimated delivery range of September 4, 2022, and September 10, 2022, has been updated to between September 20, 2022, and September 26, 2022. "

I called Ford marketing and they said it has arrived in Salt Lake City (nearest large city), and that it should be at my dealer by the 20th at the latest. I called the dealer to let them know because i was super stoked and they just argued with me saying that 'Ford marketing has no idea what they are talking about, it's still in Roper"

I really really dislike the dealer, I wish I could still change dealerships because I would in a heartbeat.

I'm with you, buddy. Same story, different state.
