Go through the process and let your dealer make you an offer to buy it back. Chances are, if you paid MSRP, they will offer you more.So I finally have a VIN and a build date (9-2022). Not sure what I should do if I elect not to purchase. It's a fully loaded Lariat, max tow and spray-in liner.
Would appreciate any advice.
Thx
Thanks! I never though of that. Yes, paid MSRP.Go through the process and let your dealer make you an offer to buy it back. Chances are, if you paid MSRP, they will offer you more.
Just don't drive it, or your mind will be made up and it will be difficult to part with.
Then, one you are dealing with a reputable dealer, and two you are, dare I say, "in the drivers seat". LOL Good luck. Thanks! I never though of that. Yes, paid MSRP.
The truck I normally tow with (travel trailer) needed replacement much sooner than I thought. So I will have two payments which isn't ideal.Forgive my asking, but why the second thoughts?
I meant to say that YOU'RE in the drivers seat in this deal. It's a figure of speech. Like a win-win.Forgive my asking, but why the second thoughts?
Thanks! Still not sure what to do, but I guess these are truly "good problems" to have.I meant to say that YOU'RE in the drivers seat in this deal. It's a figure of speech. Like a win-win.
Thanks. Unfortunately I bought the diesel at the worst time. I paid a few K over MSRP. We had several trips planned up and down the East Coast. Every camping trip we take is 300 miles or more. It's a large trailer, the 150 would never be able to handle from a payload perspective. The trailer is a 3/4 or 1 ton type tow vehicle any day.You may be in a position to sell the diesel for more than you paid, make do with the electric until you get everything under control again, and either beg/borrow/steal a diesel for towing in the meantime. Depends on how often you're going to be towing that load over 100m each way. If it's once or twice a year it might be doable.
Agree with what BIllynj Said, don't drive it because you won't want to get rid of it. I Picked my loaded Lariat up on Friday. Huge smiles every time I drive it. Either way you are in a good position at MSRP, you won't get hurt. My Dealer also sold to me for MSRP which I was very thankful for them doing that.So I finally have a VIN and a build date (9-2022). Not sure what I should do if I elect not to purchase. It's a fully loaded Lariat, max tow and spray-in liner.
