1) Why doesn’t the Lightning have sentry mode where it records activity near the vehicle and offers the option of watching the camera system live and rewind Ed from the Ford app and in-dash system?

2) Why doesn’t the Lighting have the option of recording the cameras for 24 hours in case of road incidents.

3) Are either of these options technologically capable with updates to the software, and is the truck ready for them?

- I think it goes without saying how valuable these options would be if they were part of the Lightning.

Why doesn't the Lightning do those things? Because Ford didn't program them to do those things. There are downsides to these as well, such as the high vampire battery drain during sentry mode (Tesla loses up to 7% per day). There are other threads on this where they have been discussed repeatedly. Feel free to comment on those if you think there is anything that hasn't already been covered.
