See attached for specs. Received Notice truck is in production and will arrive late September. Taking offers above 115k. For sale on several sites.

I will take delivery and pay in full when it arrives and then I will finish the transaction with the buyer. So everyone is protected we will do this with a contract and non refundable down payment (placed with trusted firm for peace of mind).

It comes with a home charger that will be sent to me after I take delivery of the vehicle. It will be in the contract to forward to you at your own cost when I receive.

You would be responsible for picking it up in Vancouver WA 98665.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

Thank you,
Dave

You should probably go somewhere else instead of an enthusiast forum. Your markup is fine and your prerogative but I laughed at your down payment request and charge for shipping of the FCSP. Pretty certain you can swing the $100 in shipping for that.

Thought I was being very fair across the board. Offered to put the downpayment with a third party for safety on both sides. Does it really seem unreasonable to an agreement and downpayment to lock up the truck for the party buying and for me to skip additional selling opportunities? Can’t argue with you on the charger.

You have the right to do whatever you want with it. I think their point is that you should probably go to an auction site or classifieds in order to sell it.

Many people on this forum haven't had the opportunity to purchase a Lightning at MSRP or otherwise, and it provokes a response when someone posts a for sale thread 5 seconds after they create an account.

This is the classifieds no? I can understand people not liking what others do with their trucks but I think a few “enthusiasts” have bought trucks off this very classifieds with a markup.

Wouldn’t it be best to be respectful of the posters ability to list his vehicle in these classifieds as he sees fit?

I searched the web for avenues to sell my truck and your forum came up with the section called:
So I made an account and 5 seconds later I listed my truck. I really didn't expect to have this kind of reaction. I just saw Berm's post. Thank you.

Seller,(n)Not a fan of the transaction methodology here. Also, I personally couldn't see putting myself in as a middleman to complete a transaction. Ford > Dealer > You > Me when I can just go Ford > Dealer > Me with the same mark up. Why not make a deal to release it to the dealer? Not to mention the paperwork MAY indicate two separate owners. Also, Washington State while there are no state income taxes does have some pretty hefty registration taxes.

Good luck!

Forum members, run away not worth it just my two cents....

The continued negative comments....ugh! Vincere just to clarify the middleman would not be an individual, rather a service that protects the buyer and the seller by holding the money until the car has been delivered. These escrow services are a safer way to do business for strangers in a large transaction. Regarding my Lightning I have already received several offers at my minimum plus if that makes you all feel better...or worse...at this point I am not sure what you want. So that will be 10-15k I can put towards an order for a hybrid 150 that I feel will be a better bet for pulling our trailer. If there is a way to remove this post and thread just let me know and I will be happy to do it and try to lower some of the stress, concerns, and anger I seem to be causing.

From what I've seen this isn't the forum to sell your Lightning. Some people on here don't have theirs yet (or don't have an order yet) and unsurprisingly aren't thrilled with the markups.

If you're looking to sell then just go drive it, you'll get offers.
