I feel like a complete idiot asking this, but I can't find it in the manual (I'm sure it's there)... where are the rear seat heater controls?

My '23 Lariat has rear heated seats. As @Fryballin mentioned, controls are in the rear on the back of the center console.

Oddly there isn't rear climate controls though.

This truck feels and drives so nice, I keep forgetting it is a truck and I start assuming it will have all of the features of a luxury SUV like my wife’s Audi etron. I went looking for more extensive climate control features as well. I also find myself noticing that there are some metal bits of the interior exposed that would have plastic covers in my other cars. I guess I’ve gotten spoiled

Also oddly enough in the mach e there an auto setting for the seats in the front. This was new for 22 hopefully they add that as a feature through an update bc it adds to the speed since everything takes multiple steps in the car. Switching driving modes, showing the camera, turning on heated seats. Getting used to you new lightning is funny like that.

There is an Auto for the seats in the Lightning as well. It is used for Remote Starting (which is only done through the app, not the fob). They'll come on heat or AC and different settings depending on the temp outside.

No that different. There an auto while your driving it will lower gradually as it warms up. Which is smart bc you don't have to keep messing with it

I have had my 2023 SR Lariat for about three and a half weeks and wondered about rear seat heaters. Today I went out and looked, no rear seat heater buttons. I wonder what option I missed to not have the rear seat heaters or maybe just a 2022 MY feature?

Looks like you have to have the ER 511A package to get Second-Row Heated Seats - bummer!

It's funny, I lived for years without heated seats, now I can't live without them. I scoffed at heated steering wheels till I got a rental in Colorado with one and then committed to getting my next car with one..... Oh the pleasures of 1st world conveniences.
