Per Friday's FDNB (Fleet Distribution News Bulletin), the updated timetable information has been released for the 2022 F-150 BEV Lightning

• 01/05/2022 - 2022MY Order Bank Open Date
• 01/27/2022 - 2022MY Scheduling Begins
• 03/14/2022 - 2022MY Job #1 Date

Ford is probably scheduling all the FCTP (Ford Courtesy Transportation Program, aka demo, aka mannequin) units first, followed by early waves. It's possible they will include wave 1 & 2 at this point. They may also wait to schedule customer units until all FCTP scheduling is complete.

My dealer told me last week (25 Jan 22) that he is expecting a demo Lightning in late March or early April. I will be excited to go for a "touch and feel" session (that may last a couple of hours).

Interestingly, another source in Ford indicated that the first Lightnings are actually considered a modification of the F-150 line, so they are listed as an F-150 Job 2 with an updated start date of

Either way, we're looking at March for the builds to start -- presumably for the FCTP trucks.
