Great view of the production line. I'm quite surprised Ford allowed this amount of access to be filmed as much of this seems proprietary. But hey - more for us to salivate over while we wait for our trucks.
Also - around the 1:55 minute mark, Sandy noticed and was perplexed why they had the foil shield in what presumably is used to block/deflect heat from the engine. I think this is a good example of how Ford quickly pivoted to producing the Lightning, leveraging as much as they could from their ICE F-150's. We know there will be many areas that will be changed out when the full ground up truck is designed. I wonder how many other things will ultimately be changed when they start from scratch?
