So I'm planning a road trip to pick up my lightning and am looking for some advice on charging networks and setup. I believe that FordPass can link with EA and EVGo, but wasn't sure how long it takes to get the connection setup, e.g., can I complete the purchase add my truck to my FordPass and take-off or is there a lag between completing the purchase and getting FordPass setup. To be safe should I go ahead and create EA and EVGo accounts in order to make sure I can charge on the way home? If I do this is it going to get complicated with multiple accounts or is FordPass smart enough to link with existing accounts? Want to be prepared to be successful with a road trip immediately after purchase.

I would create an EA account and sign up for their monthly pass. You will make up the monthly fee on a single full charge. Be advised if using the monthly pass to start the charge session from the EA app - do not use plug and charge or you pay full price.
