Does anyone notice the ride quality as being soft or bouncy. I have a 2013 Lariat w ecoboost and never changed anything on suspension and still rides firm and smooth after 140k miles. This Lariat ER seems to bounce a little more than I'm used to. I don't know if the setting for normal or sport mode is supposed to change firmness. I haven't noticed anything different from that aspect.

It is a bit bouncy on certain roads - I call it the "Cadillac ride". Anyone driving in the 80's or earlier will remember the feel. It doesn't bother me at all.

I haven't read anywhere that states the different driving modes(normal, sport, off-road) on the truck do anything with suspension(so far Ford has been extremely vague with their OTA updates, ex. Ford Power-Up 3.4.0 simply said small changes here and there) but I do notice keeping the setting to sport mode does seem to improve on the ride smoothness or bounce. Does anyone know if they heard or read something about that setting.

The suspension is not electronically controlled in any way. The only way you adjust the suspension with software is to print out the code and stuff the paper into the coils. 😂
