Your dealership knows where you stand on the list within their dealership, both in relation to timestamps and their prioritization.Hello,
Anybody out there that reserved the F-150 Lightning on 05/19 and still has not received the email from Ford for placing the order? I thought being that I pre ordered so early I would make it into the early waves, but I still haven’t heard from Ford at all (and I have contacted my dealership, but they dont have any info)
While that is possible, we really don't know this for sure at this point. Certainly we do know that a large number of non-fleet customers who wanted to order the Pro trim will be waiting until a future model year. We'll know more once Ford goes through all the ordering waves. And to confirm, there are thousands of reservations from 5/19 that have not and likely will not be selected or order for the 2022 model year. There are simply too many and the distribution of trucks are not even to all reservations/dealers.
My experience was almost exactly the same in the third wave. Do not wait for the email or text. The website will update well before then. I sent an email to my dealer once I had configured the truck online to make sure he knew there was something for him to accept. On Thursday 2/17 around 13:30 PM (EST)

On 2/3 at 13:47 PM my order was finished.
My Ford dealer sent a proactive warning email at 13:55 PM indicating I would be hearing from Ford soon.
Ford Corporate sent the official invitation by email at 5:01 PM.

Hey! I see something exciting there. Yours is the first I have seen listed as Scheduled for Production. Have you received your scheduled build date?As I suspected there are other things at play than simply the order in which you jumped on the reservation wagon. I went out and specifically found an eCertified dealer that had ZERO reservations and became their first. I believe that was key to getting a 2022. It makes perfect sense that FORD would want to spread these trucks out geographically as much as possible to get maximum geographical exposure.

No, but I'm hopeful for early MarchHey! I see something exciting there. Yours is the first I have seen listed as Scheduled for Production. Have you received your scheduled build date?
Does your reservation show a VIN? If not, I recommend contacting your dealer to find out what they know including VIN and current scheduled build date. No, but I'm hopeful for early March![]()
Congrats - you have something very interesting there - you show to be "Scheduled for Production", which no one else has. You'll have to check your order a few times and see how that plays out or if it has been brought back a step. Keep us updated. As I suspected there are other things at play than simply the order in which you jumped on the reservation wagon. That's me exactly - 5/19 reservation and nothing from Ford. I'd love to know how everyone else on here is getting info. My dealer claims they don't know anything. Other dealers I have called say the same. When I call the Ford marketing number, they tell me I need to contact my dealer. This is really frustrating!!!Hello,

Communications has not been a strong point of Ford's. Lack of communications was an issue when the Mach E came out as well. I've heard rumblings of the same for Bronco but have no experience with that. That's me exactly - 5/19 reservation and nothing from Ford. I'd love to know how everyone else on here is getting info. Go take a look New Gallery and look at the documentation that apparently each dealer has, along with the systems they have access too. Maybe you print these and take too them. Your dealer should have access and should know. That's me exactly - 5/19 reservation and nothing from Ford. I'd love to know how everyone else on here is getting info.
