So call me crazy but I have 3 reservations all put in within 5 min on 5/20/21. Put down the silly $100.00 deposit on each one. I have gone through this forum and am trying to actually figure out why my dealership has not contacted me to have my build done. I was under the assumption I made the cut for a build this year, anyways thanks for letting me ask a pretty stupid question, and I look forward to contributing to this forum. Oh ya, Im a lifetime Ford owner. Thanks in advance

Most of us with 5/20/21 reservations did NOT get the invite to convert to a order. Log into your Ford account and look at your order. I'm sure it looks just like mine saying "We received your reservation and deposit payment for an exciting new F-150 LIGHTNING. We will reach out when it is time to finalize your order."

I'm thinking we'll be relatively early MY23 orders, buy hard to say. Earliest delivery at the very end of this year, more likely quarter 1 2023.

Ford is planning to convert more reservations to orders in August. The assembly line flips from MY22 to MY23 on October 10.

I am in somewhat different situation. Was contacted by dealership to come in and complete my order which I did. Put deposit down with dealership on completion of my order and subsequently received my initial $100 deposit back from Ford Canada. My Ford account changed to following but has been no further updates in past two months. Any of the more informed out there have any idea where I sit?

Ok, so nevermind, there should be a button where you have contact dealer. That seems "funny" to me unless Ford change their system. Call Ford: Changing your selected Dealer will impact production timing and vehicle delivery and may affect available configurations. If you would like to change the Dealership associated with the reservation prior to submitting your order request, please contact a Ford Customer Experience Representative at 800-334-4375.

You should be able to just ask about your order.

I have yet to figure the rhyme or reason why some get to order. Im thinking its location plus dealer maybe?? Dont quote me though.. I am also in CA and kinda reserved on 5/20 as well, but still was able to order.

What i mean by kinda reserved on 5/20 is, my email date stamp says 5/19 a little after 10 PM. However, the message in the email from FORD is date stamped as 5/20 because of the time difference. 🤷‍♂️

i reserved on 5/19 reservation confirmed 3 minutes after opening. some dealers chose to play a game with the reservations, ill be lucky at this point if i even get a 2023, needless to say, once my invote to order comes thru, im moving my reservation, my dealer doesnt deserve the margin

I think the Ford.ca page is different than in the US. I can't get an update there either. My truck was ordered 04/12 and my dealer emailed me May 20 with a VIN and Aug 29 build week for a Lariat ER.

There are definitely CA orders from folks who reserved on 5/20.
It's just a matter of how your dealer handled prioritization of their order list.

Mine is pretty much exactly the same we just have to wait it out. I got my 100 back before the dealer contacted me I thought they had cancelled my order. now I have 1000 or 1500 cant remember sitting on it waiting. Hoping to be in the 2023 group.

Nice to hear I’m not alone. When did you place your order with dealership and whereabouts are you located?
