Lightning with a build week of 6/6. Lariat Trim, Extended Range, Bed liner, Smoked Quartz Metallic.

My initial thought was carsandbids, but when I saw a post here where members COULD be looking to purchase an early delivery (like mine). So question is, where does everyone think the best" place to sell this would be? Not looking to make a killing... no one should pay $225k for an EV truck.

There's no point in pretending you're doing someone a favor by only charging them $10K over MSRP. Just own the decision. If you're going to flip it then I would get as much money as you can for it on a site like Cars and Bids.

I didnt pretend to do anything. Why give cars and bids $4500 if I can just sell it to someone on this forum?

When I place the order for the Lightning ( and I believe it's true for many here) the plan was to replace my 2018 F-150 that I lease and trade every 3 years. The payments on the 2018 are $489 . Starting price on the Lightning at the revealing event of under 40k was the reason way I jumped and order that same night.
When the picture got clearer and the real prices of what I'll be looking at , and no leasing options, it's hard for me to see that I'll keep my Lightning and pay well over $1000 a month . Instead I'll keep the most capitalistic country leave for it potential and try to make the most out of it.
If car dealers including Ford are charging way over MSRP ..why can't we?

Since your enjoying a recent acquisition, the right thing to do is request a refund of your deposit and let the next buyer take delivery with full use of the Federal tax credit, even if that person only drives it a year or two, sells it on the free market and earns a tidy sum of CG's, great for them, just my humble opinion and no I'm not anti-capitalist, but your pre-edit OP came off as a classic type squatter.

Not crying. Just wanted you to fully embrace capitalism and get as much money as possible on an appropriate platform like cars and bids. I also don't want the forum to be spammed with posts from flippers fishing for buyers.

With luck, I'll be driving my Lightning in 2 weeks. I will be paying MSRP, assuming no dealer shenanigans.

Donate proceeds to who/what? The forum… you joined 5 hours ago to peddle a truck but, like a bro, you’re going to do a solid and only charge $10-20k over. Most people here are mad about dealers taking advantage of supply chain constraints to charge well over MSRP. Some of us have orders in but most are waiting for their shot. You may get a nibble but most people here are thinking the same thing. Go flip it somewhere else because we’re excited for the truck and here for the community and knowledge.

You sure there aren't leasing options? When I was going through the options Ford sent, leasing was one of them.

There were always going to be people who are looking to pay a premium to own the truck now. The OP is looking for those people. If that's not you, then live and let live. Why are we always trying to shut down ideas. If anyone had the chance to buy a property for low and sell high, they would do it in a heartbeat. Nobody thinks the moral thing to do is to not make a profit when you can. Also if this post is inappropriate for this forum, then admin will handle it

The dealers don't have the information for the Options program for Lightning (unlike the E Mach) just yet.
We will have to wait and see what the numbers will be, probably for a few more days.
I'm just asking cause the email they sent a while ago had a lease as one of the options. Not sure if it has changed, etc

Right- the initial price that was discussed was very appealing. Never any mention at that time that would be a short range truck only and it would take tens of $thousands to get the "long" range. Probably Ford was still trying to figure it out for themselves.
