I'm loving my Lightning thus far (22 ER Lariat) but while exploring it and cleaning, I've found a few random bolts/screws. I'm positive they are from the truck as I've found 2 (1-allen/torx head panhead screw, 1-small 1/4"ish bolt) both in the blackened finish and new looking. I've tried to search for any open holes or loose parts when I've come accross them in the cabin, but to no avail. Overall, so far so good, so I assume they just got dropped and a new one got popped in versus searching. Anyone else have this issue?

Thanks,
Sean

So funny you mention this, I found clips on the floor, and once when I opened the gate, a piece of black plastic fell under the truck about 5 in long and cracked in an odd way. I assume if was a scrap piece, who knows? I also noticed lots of glue on surfaces around the doors, glove box, sunroof, and little stands of glue sticking to the surface. Not the type of finish I have seen on my other trucks.

Bonus parts!

I worked on the line at Ford building Econoline vans for two summers while I was in college. If you dropped a screw or a bolt you didn’t pick it up, you just put in another one. You always carried extra when you were doing a job.
That is good to know. I had my Honda serviced years ago and later found a very large bolt on the floor. I spent the next few years wondering about every noise and if something was about to fall apart 😆
