question on when payment is due for the truck?

Hey All,

Like everybody, really excited to get my reservation converted into an order (hopefully next week?). My reservation confirmation email shows a time of 10:02 pm (ET) on 5/19 so really hoping that I'll be at the top of the list.

Either way, I had a question - when is the overall payment due for the truck? I'm looking to get a loan, and I was wondering if I need to get a loan secured now v/s the time of delivery? Any insight will be helpful.

Thanks!

My dealer told me no more money would be due until the spring. Then it would possibly be a small deposit with the remaining balance due upon delivery. Every dealer might be different though.

From what the website says you do payment and/or financing at the time of delivery. So that gives you time to save more for a down payment. Additionally clearing up credit issues in the next 6 months would benefit you in lower payments or a higher loan if you are going for the higher trim levels.

Mustang Mach E purchases were
1. Reservation deposit (those were $500)
2. Order deposit (usually $500-1000)
3. Payment or loan document when you take delivery
Welcome to the forum @giveitsomecharge.

Did anyone find out how much the order deposit will be with their dealer?
Just curious since it can vary.
Dealers got a huge warning for collecting large deposits/up charging/ raising the price etc. So most of them will not exceed $1000

I think you are confusing ADM (Additional Dealer Markup) with deposit. Most dealerships seem to be charging a $500-$1000 deposit but some are charging more.

I don't think I am. Some dealers were asking for 5k deposit upfront and some warned that the price will be higher when vehicle lands
