anyone have issues with the on board pro power turning off, even though you set it to not time out? Mine keeps shutting down with a full battery and the timer set to off.

It should stay active even without a constant load, right?

Kind of annoying!

it sounds like your TRUCK is turning off, not the ProPower - although when the truck shuts off, the ProPower shuts off with it. The truck 'timer OFF' setting might just be one of those settings that you have to change each time you've powered off the truck. I can't remember if mine worked this way or not, but I've towed my camper, with it being powered by the truck, for thousands of miles, and the only time the ProPower turned off is when the truck was turned off, which was typically ONLY when the truck was 'Stopped Charging' at a DC Fast Charger. For some reason, that action turns the truck off, even if you don't want it to - but, I have no idea why - it's quite annoying.

Yes, the truck is fully powered ON. I even left the key inside thinking that was it. The outlets do not stay energized, even with a load on them.
I did also notice that if I opened the door, the truck would shutdown. This would happen after the outlets stopped having power. So I just started reaching through the window to reactive the rear outlets on the touchscreen.

I actually noticed this tailgating. Games in September, it would stay on. A few weeks ago, it shut off on me. Hopefully they fix it to the way it was

Hello there! Could you please send us a private message with your VIN and dealership information? I'd be happy to look into things for you.

I hosted a college football tailgate on Saturday and no issues. Truck was 80% charged. Kept it ON and had the rear Pro Power activated. Lost 3 miles of range for a 10 hour tailgate. Sorry you're dealing with this. The tech is so crazy that i'm sure it can be fixed
10 hour tailgate?!! Wow. That is more impressive than the nominal loss in range.

When you say “on” do you me like “running” or accessory on only? Needing my truck tonight to give constant power to outlet tonight for about 3-4 hours at a bonfire.

The truck has to be fully on, not just on accessory power. However, there are new changes that may allow you to further control your truck's ProPower Onboard using the FordPass app.

Maybe I'm missing something, and if so, I'd welcome some instruction and will gladly retract my rant!

FORD SOFTWARE PEOPLE! (are you listening?). I use my ProPower on the jobsite. Works Great. BUT PLEASE consider creating a "JOBSITE MODE" that leaves the ProPower ON with the truck OFF. Maybe I'm running this wrong but, as I'm using it now, while I'm working off the ProPower, the climate controls are on, the lights are stay on, and the trucks bluetooth and appleplay grab my phone (especially painful). I like all that stuff when I'm driving, and hate all that stuff when I'm working and it's a pain to have to reconfigure a bunch of stuff each time I set up.

So.. How about a JOBSITE Mode?

I also noticed yesterday that while I can plug a cord into the front outlet and close the frunk without damaging the cord, the frunk outlet de-rates to either 400W or 175W (got 2 alerts, one that said 400 and one that said 175) when it is closed. Would be a good addition to the job-site mode if it were to be created.
