I have the best luck with Fords, after owning a Maverick for 9 months- 50 days in the shop (the saga)

Now I'm faced with an uncertain amount of time with my Lighting in the shop due to a check engine light coupled with a powertrain malfunction and power 'revving' to only 3%. Due to supply chain issues there is no estimated arrival for parts or completion.

I guess I'll chalk it up to being a guinea pig for Ford while they figure out how to manufacture EV's.

Powertrain warning light followed by a stop driving now warning, seems to be what happens when a cell in the battery dies. There was an older post with people from last year talking about how Ford was giving them gas credits and loaners. Mine died a week ago, battery is on backorder, all they will offer me for a loaner is a sedan, which does me no good. Seems like the average time to get the battery module is 30 days, maybe longer if they also backorder the glue for it as well.

I could have lemon law'ed it but weighing my options. If I were to begin the buy back, can I get the same truck with the same features at the same price? Probably not. Unfortunately, I'll just wait it out.
